Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, May is the month of Mary, the month where devotion of the faithful is dedicated to the Blessed Mother, and is the month of the year when special devotions are performed by Catholics in every part of the world in honor of the Queen of Heaven.
Every year on the 1st of May we hold a procession of the statue of the Blessed Mother as part of the opening ceremony of the Marian Month. However, this year we are unable to perform the procession jointly with the faithful due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Please be assured that we will continue to pray for everyone for the protection of the Blessed Mother, so that we who are put to the test would be freed from the shackles of this Corona virus outbreak.
